Review:
They took the test a preview of this movie tonight in NYC. I'm 26 years old now, so I was in 8th grade when the original came out.Thought first pair, but I think the third noteworthy push by the first two special. (Too much Stifler s). American Pie 4 when I saw aperçua I was excited to see them all back together, but I did not know what to expect. I know Hollywood loves to destroy the suites and I did not know how they are going to create a story line of the character that really havent been together forever.Fear not. I though this movie was almost as good as the original. Two hours of non-stop grinding-up, but none of it was forced. They again all the letters, but in a manner which does not seem thrown together or forged. It was about 2 hours and 15 minutes long, but when I thought it was dragging. They did a great job of explaining where everyone was, and it does not really seem awkward.The best part of it is, the story is about all five of them original, and relations with women and sex when they are in now ( 31 years). Each has its own problems (also married, have children, hate your job, hate the shape, etc.), and the film is a kind of resolve that they are all over the weekend reunion. It is American at a first look too. All over the old-school (oz / Heather, Kevin / Vicky, Jim / Michelle) re-regulate their past feelings.Another great thing about the film is that the characters are written in the book back in style Stiflers American Pie 1 & 2, which I liking. Party like it's not a case of the wedding. Kevin Finch (and ounces) plays a much larger role than they are made of third.There a few new characters, but none of them are annoying or taking too many stories all of the parts are well cast. Jims father and mother Stiflers is hilarious on screen together. Jims dad is the funniest thing he had ever been, but again-not in the way to the top. In general, it is well-written, well-balanced film with some good plot twists. Tons of references to old movies too. Literally, all the characters are dark first two made an appearance in point.BOTTOM LINE: 9 / 10th If you're a fan of the American Pie films (especially 1 and 2), are going to love this movie. Worth the $.
