Review:
The parallels between this film and the Exorcist obviously also with the followers, so I will not go too far into it. Just suffice it to say that the possession does not contain the shock value, the exorcist has. In short, it's just not as good of film.However in its own right, it is quite competent horror film. The story of the main characters is a kind of cliché. Husband and wife divorced, they share custody of the children, there's a new boyfriend / girlfriend in the picture and so on This kind of adaptation is always useful when working with a child spoiled the movie. So everything that is wrong with the baby can, of course on the fact that the child be made simply unable to cope with the collapse of their parents responsible. And that is exactly what happened in possession; than it actually is something very wrong with the younger daughter, and it has absolutely nothing to do with their parents. Without giving too much away, the plot is revolves around an old wooden box youngest daughter at a flea market. Of course she wants and she gets it. And it started quite a strange phenomenon, most of them pretty awful to be a few types hokey.All Overall, I was satisfied. The film received good walk worth of the action and extraordinary cinematography. Theres not much I can not find how the debt. I am not satisfied with the influx of PG-13 horror movies: If I were to name my biggest complaint about this and similar films, it would be this. Ive suspect this is due to the need to explain to a broader audience (younger viewers / Youth), and more money. Due to the sale of tickets For this reason, the final product is usually watered a bit for my taste. Possession shows a lot of promise, but I can not help but want the writer / director would have pushed the envelope a little more substance to the story. Then it would be great. As it stands now, I'll just say it's a good little horror movie. Nothing to be said about this time next year, but I think my money is well spent.My Rating: 6.5/10
