Review:
That's not a bad person, I know her, she just needs a doctor for her hand. Alicia (Temple) is a young woman travels to Chile to visit my cousin and her friends. While friends are starting to feel uncomfortable, and she wants nothing more than to leave. What begins as a fun holiday soon begin to appear and it becomes something of a nightmare for everyone. I must admit I was somewhat looking forward to it mainly because it looked like Michael Cera plays a creepy villain. Without damaging anything hes not a bad guy, but it's a very different part. I must say that Juno Temple was great, and should get a prize. As for the film, the opening shot of the film will make you feel a little uncomfortable and never leave anything. Camera work and acting really leaves you feeling unable to relax and as the film reaches a level of creepiness I was not ready. Watching the temple begin to discover fascinating and when you finally come to the end you are left stunned and not sure what to think about what you just saw. Movies that make you think and think, for me, is the sign of a good film. Overall, a film that really comes out of nowhere and feel uncomfortable all the time, which in this case is a good thing. I give it A + B.
