He returns to Gotham and wins a fortune parents, home and business, Wayne Enterprizes. Now, with the help of old family friend (Morgan Freeman), Bruce becomes Batman at night, a dark hero who fights crime in a city where good people have nothing. Batman is thrust into a war with his first major enemy, the Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy), only to find out that the enemy is evil at work for a much Bruces more powerful past.The well: Wow, for the last 13 years I kept Tim Burton on Batman Returns Batman movies, and each movie for that matter. It was' a great film, and it is still. But it was not the real Batman I thought it was. I just got back from seeing the film, Batman Begins, Batman Returns and beats by a long shot. As much as I love Michael Keatons interpretation of Bruce Wayne / Batman, Christian Bale beats them all! Hes as big as the millionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne, as well as the dark, bad-ass Batman. It's Bruce and Batman as two completely different characters, even better than both Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer! It also showcases the best clothes, and great bat mobile. Michael Caine and Gary Oldman also a great replacement for Michael Gough and Pat Hingle as James Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth. Caine turned out to be just perfect as Gough with the Butler / father figure, but Gordon add a touch more fun with the character I was not disappointed! Cillian Murphy is just great as the villain, the Scarecrow, that scares me and as a result some trippy scenes as horror / gruesome cold. Katie Holmes is here as well as the love interest, she was okay, not as bad as they say, but still a bit 'out. The rest of the team in charge of the perfect places! Christopher Nolan's direction was the best, because it has to be dark and gloomy as Burton, but a little 'more realistic! The score and honorable action as mentioned in the film.But the end, what makes it the best Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and Batman. Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer was so big, but the way I see it, is the definitive Batman Bale! ****
