Heaven help me! I liked this movie, now I'm going to be one of the few who did. As you can see from other reviews that not many people like this movie, so why would I do? 1. I came with low expectations - I was expecting something awful, boring, long and pointless, but in spite of myself I like it, I laughed at the jokes, I connected the actors (yes, Rihanna, too), I was excited about the stairs and order a cliche? The plot held my interest 2. Actors do a good job with what they have - and did a good job Taylor Kitsch, Rihanna was not bad, I dare say, well, in his role.
