Review:
I just got back from seeing special insights to help, which is due in theaters this summer. Okay, so here's the truth: I am a middle-aged white guy ... I have not read the book and I assumed, based on the fact that this is a virtually all-female cast, this is the kind of chick movement. Boy was I wrong! This is an incredible film that is not only true justice bestseller, under which (according to those who book film I have read and seen), but is extremely busy, with extraordinary performances of Viola Davis , Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Allison Janney. Veteran actress Sissy Spacek and Cicely Tyson also deliver incredible performances. While Tysons character is to the story, her role is what seems to be a few precious minutes to 2:20 running time, she brings to my mind , one of the most powerful and moving moments in the film .. . in which not even talk about the line (trust me, you'll know it when you see it.) Help also contains some very funny moments and will make you laugh. Ill go as far to say that this film and several cast members will draw some Oscar nominations. I definitely think it takes a rock to a whole new level.The racial inequality in 1963 are well illustrated in the help, and will undoubtedly show how far America to come, but and how little progress we have used in the past 50 years. By the way, this is a powerful film that is to be as fast as you can to get a ticket to the big screen to see.
