Review:
Tyler Perry's Alex Cross character and fails miserably. Although this is almost the only fault here. The problem starts with the script, which is no less bleak. All the main characters are not one-dimensional development whatsoever. Patterson novel is condensed down to a formulaic and predictable plot, where you can see the problem a mile away. Development is not a thief, why he does what he does and why a professional killer that decisions made by the. Time makes absolutely no sense in this movie. Events over a certain time in the book that have been set for a minute condensed occurred in the film. I have not seen a movie in which I told you kidding me several times because it was such an amazing scene. The direction of Rob Cohen is nothing short of terrible. Action scenes that are so vague you can not tell who beat up they are. If there's no action scenes, the rest of the film is Talking Heads 70s made for TV movie. Works smell the fullest (with the exception of short performances Cicely Tyson and Giancarlo Esposito). There is no chemistry between Perry and Ed Burns and no chemistry between the crook (Matthew Fox) and Perry. Film music mostly sounds like a movie of the week from 70 years. The only value I find in this movie, is the location. There were some nice applications Detroit buildings in the film. Other than that, you are wasting your time.
