Review:
There's no doubt about it: Meryl Streep is nominated for her 17th Academy Award nomination for his role as Britain's most controversial prime minister Margaret Thatcher in the biopic underwhelming otherwise. Streep magical as usual, but the narrative approach used screenwriter Abi Morgan and director Phyllida Lloyd? occasional dose of memories long after the elderly and mentally infirm Maggie? huge misfire. The scenes that tell the story his way from adolescence to local politics, and then in his 11 years of leadership in turbulent interesting, but they are too far and few in between to hold in reality. Of course, it checks the list of how famous moments go, but a deeper understanding of how it wouldve ruled the country for good.
